VESTA, the project that seeks to improve European resilience

VESTA is a project focused on the cyber resilience of European companies.

VESTA is a European project focused on improving resilience that Tarlogic will implement for entities related to NIS2.

The project, which is supported by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre and its members and funded under CYSSDE‘s Open Call 2 for Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment,
will provide advanced cybersecurity services to three different entities, specifically in the financial and energy sectors, through the execution of 115 penetration testing services distributed across various types of assets (systems, applications, networks, cloud, web, AI), as well as other services related to vulnerability assessment, such as continuous penetration testing, cyberattack simulations, and source code analysis.

The assessments will use recognized frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, NIST, and CIS Controls, among others, ensuring standardized, high-quality assessments. Each entity will obtain clear, actionable information on vulnerabilities and risk-mitigation priorities, thereby strengthening long-term resilience and compliance with EU cybersecurity regulations.

Over the past 7 years, Tarlogic has conducted more than 1,000 penetration testing projects for 270 clients, including more than half of the IBEX-35 companies in Spain. Tarlogic’s cybersecurity and BlackArrow team has more than 70 certified penetration testing specialists with international security certifications.

Participating in CYSSDE is essential for Tarlogic, as it amplifies our role in strengthening Europe’s cyber resilience.

These activities directly support the objectives of the NIS2 Directive, ensuring that entities critical to the European economy and society can mitigate risks and remain resilient in the face of emerging threats. With more than 23 million customers affected across the EU, the project’s cross-border scope strengthens Europe’s collective security.
