What is Backup?

A backup of the files and data of a company on a larger or smaller scale. The key piece to face episodes of disaster recovery, that is, the total or partial loss of information of a company or entity.

Carrying out regular backups is of strategic importance in the event of any attack with ransomware or cyberattack in which the company’s information may be compromised and kidnapped. From the most recent information collected on company computers, to massive volumes of data that may be stored on servers.

Backups are therefore priority security measures to optimise the security of the company and minimise, both in time and in form, the impact of any cybersecurity incident that may be triggered. The realisation of these backup copies can be automated or executed through manual procedures.
